How ready is the web for AI answer engines? Measured across 1,027 real domains, not a survey.
AIVIS has scanned 1,027 real domains across 15 industries. The average AI Readiness score is 52.2/100. Only 21.5% publish an llms.txt file, and 11.9% block at least one major AI crawler in robots.txt — meaning most sites are, by their own configuration, invisible to the AI assistants their customers already use.

Every domain in this index was crawled and scored on the same eight signals AIVIS checks for any site.

The AI Readiness score (0–100) is the weighted average of all eight checks, letter-graded A–F. Scores are recalculated live from the current corpus, not a fixed snapshot.
